Salon

Just quietly, a lot of thought went into the fit out, because we believe the salon environment is an important part of the Crown Hair experience. Kathy and Mark collaborated with Marcella Hayward, production designer and stylist from Luckyduck Design, to design a space that’s both elegant and practical. Achieving this is all about the subtle details. 

Sheer and generous curtains make the space feel intimate and serene. The seedgrass wallpaper and black oak floor add texture and a timeless style. On the colour side of the salon aged mirrors are hung low so you don’t have to watch yourself throughout the process. Feature lights by UK designer Lee Broom and sculptural vases by Dinosaur Designs are two of our favourite features. 

Crown Hair is an oasis from the frenetic Darlinghurst buzz, a calm, contemporary space that’s beautiful and soothing. You’ll be warmly greeted, and welcomed with tea or coffee and something sweet.
